Terms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms are between you and Mohammad Mesum Hussain Qureshi, Pakistan, the maker of Meze. By using Meze you agree to them.
2. App store terms
If you downloaded Meze from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement is your licence to use the app. These terms add the rules for Meze’s online features and purchases. If they conflict, Apple’s agreement applies. If you downloaded Meze from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply.
3. What Meze does
Meze saves recipes from links, photos and cookbook pages, or ones you write yourself, and helps you plan meals and make a shopping list. Imports from links use our recipe reader and AI, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Meze Pro and subscriptions
- Free users can import 5 recipes each week. Meze Pro adds unlimited imports and other features shown in the app.
- Meze Pro is sold as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- A free trial, where offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Use Restore purchases in Settings to get Meze Pro back on a new phone.
5. Recipes and AI accuracy
Imported recipes are read automatically, sometimes with AI, and can contain mistakes. Nutrition values are estimates. Check a recipe before cooking, especially for allergies. Meze does not give medical or dietary advice.
6. Your content
Your recipes and photos are yours. Recipes you import may belong to their original creators: use them for your own cooking, and do not republish them as your own.
7. Fair use
Do not misuse Meze, for example by trying to get around the free import limit, overloading the recipe reader, or copying the app.
8. Liability
Meze is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working, but cannot promise that every recipe will import or that the app will always be available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
9. Changes and contact
We may update Meze and these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Questions: hussainmesum8@gmail.com.
