Contraction Timer
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Contraction Timer app (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. We built the app to be private by default.
Data stays on your device
Everything you record, including contractions, kick counts, labor events, notes, newborn logs and your settings, is stored locally on your device. We do not have user accounts and we do not upload this information to our servers.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, sell, rent or share your personal or health information.
- There are no advertisements in the app.
- We do not use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; RevenueCat receives anonymized purchase information (such as a random app-specific identifier and your subscription state) solely to unlock the features you paid for. We never receive your payment details.
Notifications
The app can send local notifications (for example, the hospital 5-1-1 alert or reminders you enable). These are generated on your device; no data leaves your device to deliver them.
Deleting your data
You control your data. You can remove entries at any time, or clear everything from within the app’s Settings. Deleting the app also removes the data stored on your device.
Children
The app is intended for expectant and new parents and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
